A robust biogas system was developed for a remote tropical village of 500 inhabitants to provide it with sustainable electricity at a low cost. This system harnessed the region's warmth and abundant organic waste (coconut husks, manure, fallen wood) to generate enough power for 8 daily hours, meeting the village's modest needs and ensuring a clean, renewable, and reliable energy source. 

The objective of the project was to establish a highly profitable timber farm in São Tomé and Príncipe, on a previously bare piece of land. Instead of encroaching on existing ecosystems, this initiative embraced a noble philosophy – "reform, not remove." Ultimately, boosting the environment and creating employment, whilst developing a high-value timber estate with a variety of fast-growing timbers, fruitwoods, and very high-value timbers.

The project envisioned a microbrewery producing three distinct alcoholic beverages, each rooted in local recipes and fueled by the seasonal bounty of the region. By transforming readily available fruits and plants into high-value, shelf-stable spirits, the project aimed to empower local communities, reduce food waste, and create a thriving new enterprise.
